A lovely mention from our friends at Charnwood Borough Council - We are greatly looking forward to the open day at Loughborough Crematorium on Saturday 30th August so please join us if you can. In the meantime, We will be back at Loughborough Crematorium on Wednesday 16th July at 10am 🕙🌸

This year marks a special milestone for Loughborough Crematorium on Leicester Road — 65 years of serving the community with care and compassion. To honour this anniversary, Dignity Funeral Services (who operate the crematorium) are introducing several new enhancements:

🌸 New Flower Stall – Fresh blooms now available on-site, thanks to a partnership with a local florist.
☕ Coffee Cabin – Enjoy quality refreshments in a peaceful setting, provided by an independent coffee vendor.
⛪ Chapel Refurbishment – A full renovation co-designed with 18 local funeral directors, creating a more welcoming and respectful space for families and visitors.

📅 Save the Date: Saturday 30 August, 10.30am until 2.30pm

A special Open Day is being held to celebrate the completion of these improvements and the 65th anniversary. Expect guided tours, meet-and-greets with the crematorium team and local funeral directors, a showcase of their fleet, and refreshments.

As a way to mark these new beginnings, we are giving you the chance to WIN a bouquet of flowers! Whether you keep them for yourself or leave them with your loved one here in the grounds, it's entirely up to you! To enter simply do these 3 steps:

I'm thrilled to announce that, with great honour & privilege, Our little flower bar is taking residency within in the grounds of Loughborough Crematorium alongside Jonathan & his wonderful team.

We are looking forward to being on hand to meet lots of visitors and providing beautiful hand tied bouquets and arrangements.

We aim to offer a wide range of long lasting, beautiful blooms that will be available for when you pop by or if you should have any requests ahead of your visit 💐

• SAT. Ugh. Daze • Can we just take a moment to reflect on how accurate the syllables can be on today if you are a small business owner and you are not out there doing your thing on the weekend?! 😩

I'm unfortunately still recovering from Crate-Gate (for those that don't know wooden crates + dark hallways at 1am don't mix well!) I was recalled to LRI on Thursday to fix the fractured fingers they missed on the original X-ray 🩻 but I'm still not really mobile so we're going to follow Doctors orders and look forward to normal service resuming ASAP (cross your fingers because mine are strapped together 😅🤞🏼)

😫😩 Bit of bad news here at Canyon Bloom HQ after a rather nasty fall during the week. Ree is out of action for the next couple of weeks. Terrible timing in terms of just launching the flower bar and tomorrow's gardeners fair but thoughts and prayers for everyone else as when she's bored, she's unbearable!! 😂 And no right hand means no bouquets, no making, no painting - nothing! Wish us luck!🌸🥰xx
