We would like to take a moment to address our unexpected closure over the past week and offer a sincere apology for any inconvenience caused.

We always aim to be open & honest with you. Initially, we felt it was best to keep this matter private while it was ongoing, however we believe you deserve honesty.

This week, we have been attending Crown Court to support a close family member—through an extremely difficult and emotional time. She has shown incredible strength in facing the outcome of a 15-year domestic abuse relationship, which has led to a three-day trial that extended into a full week and is still ongoing. We are hopeful that today will bring some closure.

As you can imagine, this has been an intense, stressful, and deeply emotional time for our family. Balancing this while trying to maintain normal business operations has simply not been possible, and we made the difficult decision to close the café temporarily.

It has been incredibly hard knowing we have let our customers down, as you are at the heart of everything we do. Your support means more to us than words can express, and we truly appreciate your understanding during this time.

We will be back in full swing as of next week and look forward to welcoming you all back.

Domestic abuse is a sensitive but incredibly important subject to us. If this post resonates with anyone, please know that no matter how lost you may feel, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. This experience has inspired us to begin creating a safe and supportive space through both our socials and our café for women who may need help, support, or simply somewhere to feel heard.

Unfortunately the closure will apply for tomorrow too 😖

We would like to let our customers know we are all ok & there’s nothing to worry about, our presence is just required else where currently, we will be back before the weeks out x

We are having to close today due to dealing with a family matter, with us being a small family run business this affects our staffing schedule & leaves us with no other option but to close for the day, this may apply over the next few days but we will keep you all updated.
