“Wow! What an absolute ball of a time we had getting married at the Victoria. We chose the venue specifically as it felt relaxed but beautiful and knowing its sustainability ethos was the cherry on top. Such a cool place to be.

The food and drink has to be some of the best we and our guests have ever had… the amount of guests who are still commenting on the butternut squash is incredible and that’s coming from some family members who typically live on pizza and chips! Going for crowd pleasers for the w**es was one of the best decisions we made- the guests absolutely loved them and were very very merry by the time the evening guests joined (just what we wanted)

We barely had a worry in our minds throughout the day as the team just ushered us to where we needed to be and were so kind in getting everyone else to where they needed to be too! The guests even commented on how well organised everything was and how lovely the team and bar staff were!

Overall, the day was all we could have wished for and more. The team made it so seamless and easy to move through, we were practically floating in clouds. We would 1000% recommend the Victoria to deliver on the wedding of your dreams.”

“We had the most amazing day celebrating our wedding at Victoria. Unfortunately, you can’t plan the weather and after a scorching summer, the rain arrived for our big day. Even so, after worrying over the forecast all week, we can honestly say we didn’t care at all, as we ended up having far too much fun to notice!

The events team made sure our day went by without a hitch and we were impressed by how they carefully arranged our homemade decorations and corralled our guests around the venue for photos and a confetti throw.

We loved the design of the venue and the warm lighting, which meant all of our guests’ pictures looked fab. Plus, the food was incredible and several guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten.

The team also helped the band pull off a surprise entrance during our first dance, which was a real highlight of the night. The only downside is that it was so bloody good, we want to do it all over again!”

We hosted an almighty Friday night ‘PASTA PARTY’ social with THE PEAK DIVIDE for the runners of the ONEr at Vic last night…

A coming together to feast and fuel before the next morning - for the ONEr - an ultra trail run - 76KM, in one day, across the Peak District National Park setting off from The Mowbray Sheffield→ Manchester…

The Clubhouse Bar was the perfect spot to gather and register- as well as being a top spot for event sponsors - The Pasta Party was hosted up in The Chapel - before everyone headed back down to The Clubhouse👌

Our Open Houses are a really special and honestly - a lovely way to get to know our buildings and our team... and meet amazing suppliers.

Our day was captured so beautifully by Benji from Wilson Weddings - Benji has really captured the beautiful light that spreads throughout our buildings and the friendly joyous vibe of the whole day.
