Sinjin Hawke is an electronic producer, visual artist and co- founder of the audiovisual platform Fractal Fantasy. His club productions fuse the rhythms of footwork, dancehall, grime, uk funky, jersey club, R&B with soulful choral and orchestral textures. He has worked with a wide range of artists, from underground club legends like D] Rashad and Lag to rap/R&B artists such as Gangsta Boo, Frank Ocean, Just Blaze, and Kanye West.
After his debut album First Opus, he shifted his focus to developing Fractal Fantasy with Zora Jones, a platform devoted to creating interactive virtual worlds soundtracked by cutting edge club music. On Fractal Fantasy he developed an online club called Club Simulator and devised an immersive audiovisual event concept called VIRTUA, which premiered at Mutek and Unsound festivals in 2022.
Sinjin spends much of his time developing the technology for Fractal Fantasy's live show that translates movement into both sound and vision, alowing the artists to control the music with motion capture and turn themselves into liquid metal avatars towering in front of the audience. His performances have taken him around the world for important institutions such as Sónar, Boiler Room, Tresor, and MOMA PS1, and recently a surround version of the Fractal Fantasy show was developed for dome format and premiered at Mutek Festival in 2024.
