WE’RE HIRING – Weekend Café Manager (Must be 18 or over)
Pen*stone Leisure Centre – The Hub Café

Are you a passionate chef who loves creating great food and a welcoming atmosphere? 🍰☕
We’re looking for a Weekend Café Manager to lead our newly relaunched Hub Café and help shape it into a thriving community space.

🗓 Start Date: April 2026
💷 Pay: £13.50
⏰ Hours:
• Saturday: 8am–2pm (6 hours)
• Sunday: 9:30am–12:30pm (3 hours)
Extra shifts available during holidays & events (Halloween, Christmas & more!)

👩‍🍳 What you’ll be doing:
✔️ Running the café day-to-day (kitchen & front-of-house)
✔️ Preparing fresh meals, snacks & homemade bakes
✔️ Planning menus, managing stock & controlling costs
✔️ Leading and supporting staff & volunteers
✔️ Delivering brilliant customer service
✔️ Helping grow the café through events & social media

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience managing a kitchen & team
• Understands food safety & allergens
• Is organised, reliable & great with people
• Can work independently and bring energy to the role
• Loves the idea of building something special in the community ❤️

🍴 Interview includes a practical task:
Prepare 3 simple dishes (including vegan/vegetarian), showing creativity, presentation & cost awareness.
