Thank you to our fantastic venue ‘Sheffield General Cemetery’ for letting us host Secret Shakers, it would not have been possible without you!

Huge congratulations to our friends for raising £2126 for Sheffield Children’s Hospital through their Secret Shakers Cocktail Event held here at Sheffield General Cemetery last month. Well done, Girlies! 🍾💋

One final big thank you to our fundraising stars, Patricia Walker and her knitting nanas who helped us so much in our fundraising efforts!

Also to Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Sandbach Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic and Bernadette Oakes for selling the lovely knitted gifts for us, and Jules Walker for organising the whole thing AS WELL as knitting chickens herself!

We could never have pulled off the event we'd envisioned without all your help so thank you again for all your assistance!

Thank you so much to everyone that came along, bought a raffle ticket or donated! All the money will be going directly to the Sheffield Children’s Hospital where it will be put to good use helping sick children throughout Sheffield and the rest of the UK!

What a whirlwind! Now that we've all had enough time to recover (just about) we want to take a minute to say a HUUGE thank you to everyone that made this event possible!

Firstly thank you for everyone that bought a ticket and came dressed to the nines, you all looked incredible and it was wonderful meeting you all at last!

Thank you to our photographers of the evening, the team at S SAX Productions and Hollie Cornish for capturing so many wonderful moments of the evening! They also have a video of the event coming later this week so keep your eyes peeled!👀

Of course a massive thank you goes out to the band, Friday Night Jazz Evening from University of Sheffield Music Players' Society, we could have danced all night to you!

Another big thank you to the bartenders who worked tirelessly all evening to supply everyone with a fun and informative evening!

Also, thank you to the Sheffield General Cemetery for allowing us to use your amazing venue for the evening! It was the perfect setting for the evening and we're SO delighted we had the pleasure of working with you!

And finally a BIG thank you all of the volunteers who helped us in so many ways, from the SHU events management students who worked all evening to ensure the event ran smoothly, to all of our family and friends who worked in the hours/days/weeks beforehand to assist us in the planning, set up and clear up of Secret Shakers. It took a village to get this event off the ground and we could never have managed it without you!

So thank you again to everyone involved!

There are so many people to thank for allowing this amazing event to happen, but in particular these 4 wonderful mixologists who really brought the whole evening to life! All 4 of them brought something completely unique to their table and provided all of their tables with an unforgettable night! So a massive thank you to Deiniol, Kyle, Dan and Teleka for all their amazing work, we couldn’t have done it without you! ✨
