Our role as stylists at EB is more than just putting our brides into dresses and celebrating when they say yes. It is more than that, on so many different levels. ⁠

We obsess and research, we share ideas and pictures.⁠
We devour wedding styles and real brides pictures as though we ourselves are newly engaged. ⁠
We fawn over any celebrity wedding and it feels like christmas morning when new dresses arrive into the shop. ⁠
⁠
We deliberate over every dress choice, we discuss everything that is happening and share with each other all the brides coming in, their wedding plans and dress choices, all the ideas and all the conversations:, late night chats, early morning "before I forget..." and "Did you see Lauren's pictures..." are regular starting sentences in our group chat. ⁠

We love what we do, helping someone find their dress is addictive. ⁠
⁠
Witnessing the moment a woman looks at herself finally with acceptance and even love for what is staring back at her never gets old, it never feels mundane. ⁠

Being part of EB feels special. We are honoured to call this work and cannot imagine doing anything else.

The dress you didn’t think you’d try
"I’d had a really disheartening experience at another bridal shop, where I was told I was quite limited in what I could look at because of my shape.

So I came away and was like, okay, maybe I won’t get that “wow this is the one” moment and that’s fine.

And then along came Megan at Emily Bridal, who met my list of “well I’ve been told I shouldn’t wear, this, this or this” and she said “…but can I try?”. What a woman and what an experience. I wouldn’t have even looked at my dress without Megan’s vision for what would suit me, and I am in love with it.

Emily’s was recommended to me by so many people and it did not disappoint. Thank you so much"

The week of sun definitely wanted us to be outside, we of course had to trial and test them in the sun with a quick boogie💃

Showing off our Charlotte!!!!

She has been around EB for years, her mum Lizzie, is one of our wonderful seamstresses.

She is a woman with many skills, but following in her mothers footsteps of sewing isn't one. Instead she sings, djs and now also sells wedding dresses!!

So technically following by working in the same place!!

A ball of positive energy, with the kindest heart, the shortest attention span, even shorter than mine!!, an ability to eat anything in record time and THE best hype girl ever.

Currently working Friday and Saturdays, so you will hear her before you see her if you are.coming in on those days.

I also think Lizzie is dragging her in on wednesday fitting days to help her.

We love her fun outlook on life, but can someone train her to put the teabags in the bin, and not the sink!!
