Slick Events founded in 2007, Sheffield's leading female only events organiser and DJ known by the name of DJ SO-LAW. Has had the pleasure of hosting numerous events across the city in different venues which proved to be a huge success each and every time. The evening events were established due to seeing a gap in the events industry where some females weren't allo

wed out into the mixed environment to party. Mainly for the Hijabi sisters who wanted to let their hair down, able to enjoy the night and meet some of their fave artists without hesitation. In 2008, 2009 and 2010 Slick Events took on the role of hosting events and night for students mainly, hitting the Uni's.

2011 was the launch of ladies events monthly and mixed nights every two months, which all have been a great success. Slick events using Rawal Lounge Sheesha & Restaurant as the main venue in giving people the experience of their lives. Allows double enjoyment being able to smoke sh**ha in a relaxed environment and receive entertainment at the same time all at a low budget price.

July 2011, the management side to Slick Events has been on the kick off. Our focus is to stretch their potential in the arts industry to the fullest. New artists are being taken under our wings and we are positive they will be entertainers you will not forget. We have a few artists which you'll have to watch out for and who will appear shortly. Latest signings being 21 Perspective.

21 Perspective is an intelligent British Asian hip-hop artist, poet and actor from South London. His influences range from poets such as Christopher Marlowe and Rumi to musicians such as Lupe Fiasco. His debut EP My Ideal Woman illustrates his versatility. He illuminates his work with wordplay, unique flow and a unique storyteller narration. Check out his youtube:

2012 led to the signing of a female singer by the name of 'ABBY' [Artist name still to be confirmed]. An artist to look out for. July 2012, ZiPak was the new addition signed to Slick Events and Management for U.K promotions. This Belgium based young artist has a lot of potential. With the main motto of 'bringing Sheffield to life' Slick Events seems to be sticking to this, before moving on to a larger scale.
