When requested an appointment at Hummingbird we knew it was going to be a special journey for this beautiful soul. Searching for something special, we welcomed Chloe to the studio and began the consultation and styling for her dream dress. We soon realised that Chloe’s gown was absolutely going to be bespoke so we set to work designing the gown with our beautiful bride, and step by step a dress like no other was created. The dress creation was collaborated with the elite couture team in their overseas production house, and day by day we saw it come to life.

Chloe looked simply radiant in her one of a kind lace and silk piece which featured detachable godet, totally hand embellished with matching lace appliqué and glass beads, allowing for a modest yet eye-catching day look; to night time which revealed a jaw dropping leg split perfect for the evening celebrations (and perfect for those legs YAS!! And of course hello!)
The train we knew had to be show stopping, so we opted for a unique petal shape at over Abbey length for drama - a custom length lace adorned veil was then perfectly shaped and measured to frame the train and add that extra wow.
The illusion basque bodice was designed with an organic flow of lace pattern running down the dropped split hips to emphasise a powerfully feminine aesthetic. Visible boning and structure of course were added to give sn**ch and support. Extra appliqués on the bust line were later added by an individual seamstress for coverage.
We set out to achieve a sleek sophisticated gown that also had that POW and glam detailing - a beautiful mix of chic yet glamorous, that had elements of evolution throughout the day.
