Last Call for tickets
Some on door, possibly

Aidan Thorne (double bass /keyboards)/ Jason Ball (guitar)
A Sonic Invocation to Nostalgia and the Welsh Landscape.
Two brilliant instrumentalists coming together to explore the Welsh Heartland.
Perhaps "hiraeth" is an overused phrase, but in this case it seems totally apt to connect with the music Aidan and Jason conjure together
"Poems of a Space" is the second album of the duo of guitarist Jason Ball and bassist Aidan Thorne. All of the compositions on this album are written and arranged by the duo.

The album is meant to stir memories of the listener and create a feeling of nostalgia or of having heard the music before in the past. Guitar ambience engulfs the compositions like a fog instilling ideas and memories.

Dean McPhee with support from Dbh

Two artists who for us make this part of the world especially beguiling.
Dean melds Psych, dub, weird folk and more to conjure a space of drifting timelessness.
DbH, may play guitar, may play fiddle, may just twiddle his thumbs... and it will be great. If we were to list the great artists he's played with we'd be here all night. Trust us......Probably magical folk instrumentals...or

You have nothing to lose except your mind!!!!!

July will find us in a New York State of Mind..................
We are still wrestling with "What is it You Do?"

Two of our favourite guitarists
Dean McPhee is a UK-based guitarist whose work draws on dub, British folk, underground electronic music, and psychedelic rock, evolving from sparse, echo-laden solo guitar pieces into a heavier, more immersive style incorporating deep bass, hypnotic riffs, and layered, loop-based structures.

plus the remarkable DBH
A legend to us! dbh, guitarist / violinist who has played with the likes of Bridget Hayden, Nadia Read, Jim Ghedi, Kiran Leonard, Irma Vep and man, many more.

La Cozna (FR) and PERSONA (Sheff) + Special Guests
An evening of French Folk and minimalist post wave from Sheffield.
Weaving a series of traditional French songs from 20th-centur collections and brings them into the present. Passed down in whispers in the secrecy of kitchens, these women's songs are stories of love, violence and freedom that play on domination with humour, drama and poetry. In Ni Nuit Ni Jour, the ambiguity of the lyrics flirts with a feverish sound, tense with desire and darkness.

We are back and have two Amazing Gigs Coming Up ..
If you came to Tartine de Clos, you know what a stellar evening awaits. Their leader Guillaume Maupin returns to sing solo for us!
Onstage, he offers music like a conversation: intimate, generous, hilarious and full of surprises. His warm, unhurried ld where stories drift between languages, and where each tune feels discovered rather than performed. He reshapes familiar songs with subtle twists, revives forgotten ones with tenderness, and lets new ones emerge as if they’d always been there. In his hands, the simple act of singing becomes an invitation—to listen, to remember, and to linger a little longer.

Also playing will be Jo Veal and Emily Bowden, two highly talented and respected members of the Sheffield Folk and World Scene.
"Jo and Emily bring a sense of joy, fun, sensitivity and deep connection through their music. Both rooted in the Sheffield folk scene, they play for European folk dancing, ceilidhs, interactive music-making sessions and sometimes in the woods for passers by! With soaring improvisations and sensitive harmonies, their repertoire is a mixture of original and traditional music.
