What a lovely day we had in the studio this week for Peony Madness 🌸

Guests arrived to tea, coffee and homemade Highland biscuits (always a favourite), before Stephanie kicked things off with a little peony talk and a live bouquet demonstration.

Everyone then headed upstairs to create their own hand-tied peony arrangements, with plenty of guidance along the way and lots of beautiful flowers to work with.

We paused halfway for cake, Pimms and a bit of a “Summer at Steph’s” moment — even if the weather outside didn’t quite agree!

The afternoon finished with everyone completing their vases and heading home with the most gorgeous peony bouquets.

A really relaxed, happy day in the studio… and we even had a couple of workshop bookings for later in the year made on the spot, which is always lovely (and we're thankful for).

Here we are looking back at Sunday’s beautiful wedding at Mythe Barn — and this one was truly something special.

A gorgeous woodland-inspired celebration that one of the guests perfectly described as the “Enchanted Forest look” — and it really did feel like that from start to finish.

We provided full floristry for the day, including the bridal bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets, ceremony flowers for the altar and aisle, wedding cake florals, and table arrangements throughout the reception.

The colour palette of purples, whites, pinks and fresh greens came to life through a rich mix of seasonal flowers and foliage — roses, peonies, hydrangeas, alliums, stocks, daisies, tulips, spray roses, veronica, snapdragons, campanula, asparagus fern, ruscus, umbrella fern and viburnum. All layered together to create that soft, natural, woodland feel.

One of those days that just stays with you… 🌸

A sunny Friday in April, the studio full of flowers, and a bride alongside her two friends creating her wedding florals together — the day before she walked down the aisle.

From bouquet to bridesmaids, buttonholes to table flowers, everything was made by hand using beautiful, seasonal blooms. It was busy (very busy!), but such a rewarding experience for everyone involved.

There was plenty of concentration… plenty of laughter… a few bubbles along the way… and yes, some excellent bridal headbands (I was very much encouraged to join in!).

It’s days like this that remind us how special it is to be part of someone’s wedding in such a personal way — not just providing the flowers, but helping create the experience around them.

Sunlight pouring into the studio… fresh flowers everywhere… a glass of something bubbly in hand… 🌿🥂

This was a recent private workshop we hosted in Shearsby for a bride and her friends — creating her wedding flowers the day before the big day.

A full day of learning, creating and laughing together. From first stems to finished designs, everything was made by hand — guided, supported and enjoyed every step of the way.

And the best part? Walking away with something truly meaningful. Flowers made not just for the wedding… but as part of it.

A little Friday in April… sunshine, flowers and a very special kind of workshop

We welcomed a bride and her two friends into the studio in Shearsby for a private session — creating all of her wedding flowers together the day before the big day. Bouquet, bridesmaids, buttonholes and table flowers… all made by the bridal party themselves using beautiful, premium blooms, with guidance every step of the way.

Yes, it was a busy one — but so incredibly rewarding. There’s something quite magical about making your own wedding flowers, especially when it’s shared with the people closest to you.

There were bubbles, there were laughs, and yes… there were headbands (and apparently I wasn’t getting away without wearing one either!). A truly lovely day from start to finish 🤍

Peony season is nearly here… 🌸 and we’re just a little bit excited.

Our Peony Madness: Hand-Tied Bouquet Workshop is happening on 19th May (10am–1pm) at Meadowcroft Studio in Shearsby — and there are now just 5 spaces left.

A relaxed, hands-on session where you’ll create your own beautiful peony bouquet while learning simple floristry techniques you can use again and again. No experience needed — just come and enjoy working with some of the best flowers of the season.

All materials, tools and refreshments included, and you’ll head home with your finished bouquet arranged in a vase.

Here we are revisiting Sophie & Ben’s wedding at Mythe Barn — and this time, it’s about the men.
We don’t often talk about men and flowers. But perhaps we should.

The groom framed by ceremony florals. The father of the bride caught in a quiet moment. The best man mid-speech. Even the DJ later in the evening, with florals creating the backdrop.

Add thoughtful floral design to the scene and the whole atmosphere shifts. It elevates. It softens. It transforms.

Throwing it back to Sophie & Ben at Mythe Barn — because the setting deserves its own moment.
From the ceremony arch to the reception tables, every space carried the same soft, textural boho feel. Even the cake sat perfectly within the floral scheme.

Working alongside The Rustic Wedding Company meant the ceremony arrangements were transitioned seamlessly into the wedding breakfast — and if you look closely, you might even spot them reappearing in front of the DJ later on.
