Chef / Café Manager (30–40 hrs, Flexible, Weekends Included)
We’re looking for a hands-on Chef / Café Manager to join our busy café team. This is a varied role combining food prep, customer service, and day-to-day running of the café.
You’ll take ownership of opening, service, and closing, helping deliver great food and a welcoming experience for our customers.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and cook breakfast & lunch items
Make fresh products (cakes, sausage rolls, slaw, etc.)
Set up and run daily service (kitchen & front of house)
Serve customers, take orders, and handle payments
Monitor stock, place orders, and manage supplies
Keep the café clean, organised, and well-presented
Handle opening and closing procedures
What We’re Looking For
Experience in a café, kitchen, or hospitality role
Confident working independently and taking initiative
Friendly and reliable with good customer service skills
Able to stay organised and calm during busy periods
Flexible to work weekends and varying hours
The Role
30–40 hours per week (flexible)
4/5 days out of 6 days (includes weekends)
Seasonal variation in hours
Must be a driver due to location
Must have recent experience in a similar role
