Missed today’s wedding fair ?

Here’s a peek into what we got up to… Lots of new twists on the autumnal colour scheme, bringing in chocolate browns, mochas, coffee, cinnamon, n**e, ivory and even a twist of liacy gorgeousness.

Prop wise we introduced our new gold rimmed chargers, chocolate satin napkins, gorgeous little lamps, and new mini candelabra.

It was a pleasure to meet so many lovely couples and see some familiar faces too. Thanks as always to the team and for putting on an amazing fair!

Just the most gorgeous wedding colour scheme for J&J at the Oakwood yesterday. Peachy and cream tones gently blending into hot pinks and a dash of deep plum, perfect for an indian summer celebration . 😍😍😍

Flower meadows from the wedding ceremony were repurposed to the sweetheart table, creating a floral explosion 💥

Faux florals mixed with fresh gypsophila were used in the flower recipe, with a mix of artificial roses, dahlias, hydrangeas, carnations (a personal favourite), and peonies 🌸🌹🌺

We’ve all been there….

In fact, DIY’ing my own wedding gave me the idea of setting up Shindig! ten years ago.

I absolutely loved doing anything creative and I’m a control freak so styling for myself was the obvious choice.

But after a box room full of stuff and a Bride Squad more interested in the fizz than the faff, I realised fast that a helping hand or three was a wise choice.

And you know, it’s not as spenny as you think. We’ll incorporate any decor you’ve already got, bring it all together so it’s cohesive, and fill any flowery or styling gaps. We’ll even set it all up and take it down for you so you can join in the fun.

Feasting Tables 🤍

What can we say but WOW - how cool do these look? Especially from that aerial view 😍😍😍

Always a pleasure to style the Grand Hall at Sandburn, and we love doing something a bit different with the space there too.

Autumn landed with a bang at the Oakwood’s Open evening last week. Terracottas mixed with soft taupe, cream and peach tones works so well with the rustic-luxe of this venue.

All florals here are bespoke faux florals - meaning you can rent your flowers and create an impact without blowing up your budget.

Thanks as always to The Oakwood for having us, and to all the lovely couples we met. Info is winging its way across today!

Serpentine Table! Oh my how we LOVED getting our hands on our very first serpentine table this weekend 💕💕💕 Lots of bud vases filled with rose and calla lilies, a mix of tall and low candles, dotted with our new glass table lamps, the most divine glassware from , clear beaded chargers and a colour palette of plum, whites, fresh greens and a pop of hot pink. We just didn’t want to take it down!

Olivia & Joel\ Well what can we say about The Kinder’s absolutely stunning Valentine’s wedding yesterday at Oaklands 💕

Just THE most gorgeous colour palette of deep dark ruby reds, fuchsia and blush, with *wow* floral displays including masses of hydrangea, roses, anthurium, calla lilies, and sprayed gypsophila. All repurposed later to the top table, but hell, there’s too many photos to use in one post…

Chiffon drapes to aisle chairs in a descending ombre to mark the aisle, with absolutely tonnes of fresh petals for a truly romantic entrance.

WHAT a way to kick off 2026.
