Reposting with a change of the first date! I stopped short of using Michael Buble on this post, but Christmas is beginning to take over at The Floral Chambers!
We have two special events at Romeo’s Bar Italiano in Howden: with a Christmas Cocktail on arrival and a delicious slice of panettone, a demonstration of how to create a wreath, and then plenty of time to enjoy putting your own together with beautiful embellishments to finish.

A wonderful day for a wonderful couple. A buttery twist on classic white and green, Rosie and I spent so much time debating how yellow to go! In the end we chose to lean heavily into cream with just touches of the butter yellow, and the result was a luxurious, polished look.

Only 3 weeks until our ‘Arranging in a Vase’ workshop at The New Inn Barlby on Tuesday 1st July! I will show you some great ideas for container arrangements before guiding you through creating your own. You’ll walk away with an arrangement of stunning florist- grade flowers, but the question is will they be whites and greens or would you like to see a bright summer colour palette? Comment your preference below!

Save the date of Tuesday 1st July for a gorgeous workshop, ‘Arranging in a Vase’.
I will bring a lovely selection of flowers and foliage, and demonstrate a few different ways to make the most of the material, then be on hand with tips and tricks as you create your own arrangement.
Bring your own vase or container, all other materials are provided for you!
Tuesday 1st July at 7pm, at The New Inn Barlby

A little touch base to share a few photos of our newest addition, little Jamie! He is now almost 8 weeks old.
Lots of exciting things are in the pipeline for The Floral Chambers, new workshops will be live on the website soon and I am doing some of the groundwork for the three weddings I have the pleasure of providing the floristry for this Summer! But for now almost all of my time is spent focusing on our beautiful little family 🥰

All has been quiet here since the Christmas workshops - I have been taking a little break as we prepare to welcome our son in March!
I have been quietly planning the year ahead for our lovely business, including planning wedding floristry for a few wonderful couples, but now is the time to focus completely on our new arrival - I will be more than happy to answer any queries via message but this may be a little slower than usual.
Keep an eye out for announcements of our upcoming workshops for the end of May onwards, and a few little flashbacks of what was a very busy December!
Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who has attended my workshops over the past 18 months, I have met so many wonderful people and I am so looking forward to seeing many of you again when I return to work 🤍

Wreaths wreaths wreaths!
What a gorgeous evening we had at Romeo’s Bar Italiano on Monday. Slightly short on photos as I snapped a few ‘work in progress’ pics, but everyone loved their Christmas cocktail (or mocktail) as we arrived and began our wreath-making.
Everyone left feeling very festive and with a beautiful wreath to hang and admire. Plus a few of us took advantage of a takeaway pizza from Florena’s Italian Howden for the journey home, mine was absolutely delicious 🥰
Thank you for having us Romeo’s, and looking forward to my final workshop of the year with you on Tuesday 17th Dec! As I write we have 6 places left available on this one, £45pp including all wreath materials and decorations, a Christmas cocktail of your choice from a selection, and some gorgeous panettone in the drink break 🎄
