Ending the summer wedding season on a high! My 20th visit to Lake Henry over the years and each time I’m reminded why I love it so much. Mostly because the couples that choose the venue and me seem to be so chilled and fun.

Rob & Jen had highland cows, a lovely personal ceremony, garden games, temp tattoo station and loads of lovely personal touches.

It’s been a crazy summer and I’m looking forward to working through all the weddings as I edit them.

What a day and what a venue! Overlooking Derwent Reservoir it’s the perfect backdrop for a wedding and B&L smiled from start to finish. Starting with a wonderfully personal ceremony taken by a friend (I covered their legal ceremony earlier in the month, also a lot of fun!) and ending with some great dance floor action.

More previews from August! This time the incredible wedding of A&A at Beamish Hall. Coming all the way from Ireland they celebrated with friends and family surrounded by the Durham countryside. Featuring a fantastic ceremony, crazy golf and even a car racing sim.

I’m always a little nervous when asked to photograph a wedding for someone in the industry! Especially a wonderful videographer who spends every weekend working with some photography legends. So it was an honour to capture the wedding of Craig & Vicki at Swanley Meadows over the bank holiday weekend.

It was a little damp but that didn’t stop them running in the rain, confetti and embracing the true festival feel!

Amazing music choices all day, Craig playing guitar and a lovely ceremony to top off a fantastic day.

Carrying on with my huge backlog of posting previews with this wonderfully colourful day for E&J! I loved being back at Low Osgoodby Grange for the bank holiday weekend. The grooms sister is a wedding planner who I have worked with many times so I knew this would be well organised and a lot of fun.

Incredible ceremony including a sing along with instruments, great dance floor featuring the worm and singing waiters bringing the conga and sing off vibes.

I’m currently obsessed with country music and I’m always obsessed with the beach. So when Vickie & Dan told me the bridal party are wearing cowboy boots, country music would be playing and all at Barn on the Bay, I couldn’t wait.

A lush sunny day with such a fun group of guests I had an absolute blast.

What a day! Yesterday I headed up to the very cool Tapyard in Newcastle for the wedding of Grace & Joe. Lots of shots, dancing, colour and food.

Also one of the best entrances I have seen, so much energy including black and white napkins and the local hero song, what a vibe!
