Sharing for anyone concerned about the Roker Hotel
From all of us here at The Roker Hotel we’d just like to send out a statement confirming that the Hotel is now on the market to be sold. Tavistock Hospitality have owned the Roker Hotel for over 20 years now, and throughout that time we’ve expanded, built upon and made memories in one of the longest standing Hotels in Sunderland. We’re very proud of the work we’ve done, the fantastic staff we have working with us, and the thriving business that we’ve created.
It’s not a decision we’ve taken lightly, but after building the business back up after surviving the pandemic, we feel the Hotel is now in a fantastic position for someone to come along and take it to the next level. We would like to work with the new owners to continue to improve on and expand what we feel is one of the best Hotels in the North East of England. The Roker Hotel is, and always will be a fantastic haven, but due to various family commitments and changes of circumstance we’re now in a position where we’d like to scale back Tavistock Hospitality as a business.
We’d just like to assure all guests and customers that all events, weddings, room bookings and commitments will be honoured. Everything will be going ahead as normal, and all of our fantastic staff will continue to work here. Nothing at all will change on the day-to-day running of the business.
The Hotel has only just been put onto the market and when we have any more information we will of course keep you all updated.
