Blushing Bridal Posy
It was a joy to design this duo.
A bride had entrusted her sister to choose a ‘fuss free’ mini posy for her big day. After a lovely chat & a few ideas between us I got a clue of what she might like. Two days later the vintage carnation simple bridal posy and her matching buttonhole (actually worn by the sister 🥰) were ready to collect & travel to the simple ceremony.
Your big day doesn’t have to mean big arrangements and endless planning, and keeping it simple definitely doesn’t have to mean basic.
I have a fantastic consult space in the shop which means I can see genuine reactions to the ideas & blooms I show you, & we can demystify some of the wedding floristry language so you know what you’re signing up for, whether that’s hundreds of flowers of venue arrangements or a single Flower Crown.

☔️ I’m not even sad about the rain, firstly because the flowers growing by local flower farmers are in desperate need of some showers, but also because these gorgeous wellingtons arrived in the shop this morning… Maybe it’s a sign ✨
Suitable for outdoor planting, house plants or even a vase. Imagine a little family of wellies lined up by the front door welcoming you home!

It’s been a good time to process everything whilst the shop has been closed the last 2 days.
I’m ready for my first, full open week to start tomorrow morning.
You’ve all been enjoying the gorgeous bunches of Ranunculus so I’m pleased you report there will be more coming this week. I can’t wait to share what other blooms I’ll have in to create beautiful bouquets with 💐

I am unbelievably overwhelmed by the amount of wonderful people who have popped into the shop in the last 48hrs.
Last night’s soft launch was something truly special. Myself & Anthony feel so lucky to know some brilliant supportive people who had made it over to celebrate with us. Thank you to the lovely people of Fiveways who came along to have a nose, we’ve really enjoyed talking to & getting to know you all.
Today’s first full day in the shop was something of a dream for me and I cannot thank you all enough for all your kind words and compliments. The shop really is a dreamy place and I’m so pleased you love it as much as I do.
Lastly, thank you for all your purchases so far. Along with the rest of the inspirational small business owners I’m sharing these streets with, we rely on your custom so that we get to stay & flourish. So proud to be a part of this community, thank you for welcoming me ❤️

Not too long before I’ll be opening the door to welcome you at Scentiment Floristry & Gifting. It’s been an incredible process and I’m so looking forward to sharing the amazing work that has gone on behind the door over the last 6 weeks! I look forward to seeing some familiar faces & meeting some friendly new ones too. Do pop in and say hello if you’re around in Fiveways on Thursday evening for a quiet ‘hoorah, we did it!’ 🥂
