What have we done to deserve you?

This is going to be a rather vulnerable post, but I don’t have anything to lose.

I started this business 11 years ago, and we’ve had an amazing journey.

Pre covid were the best times, selling out weeks worth of fudge at a time, and it was hard to get your hands on it!

Of course times move and change.

We’ve had to face some really difficult challenges the last few years, and they’ve all left me a destroyed, anxious mess on the verge on a breakdown.

All costs have gone up astronomically, as they have everywhere. With chocolate more than doubling in the last 2 years.

We lost our Instagram account and had to fight to get it back for over 2 months, drastically impacting our income.

We were broken into and burgled.

The algorithm is RUBBISH on all socials, particularly this one. This used to be the place to be for small businesses, and I know I’m not alone when thinking “how much longer can I go on like this?”.

On top of all of that, I’m dealing with chronic illnesses and disabilities, and now a potential heart problem that is currently being investigated 💔.

This business directly supports my whole family. Myself & husband with 3 kids at home, our older daughter with her own mortgage now and her boyfriend, also my Dad as and when we need him.

At the minute I genuinely feel like I’m failing them all, and it hurts so much.

Our products are genuinely incredible, and they really do deserve more recognition, so please, help us to be seen, and enable us to continue with our passion, our life - our business.

And that goes for all small businesses. Unfortunately it’s fast becoming a use it or lose it situation.
