Congratulations to Nicole and James who were married yesterday at Bonby Church then enjoyed their celebrations at Lazaat Hotel in Cottingham. It was so lovely to be able to support Nicole and James with their planning and be there yesterday to setup and ensure everything ran smoothly for them.

To all of my followers, my two children (and now their Grandma too) have decided to do a sky dive in August next year in memory of their Grandad (my Dad) who passed away earlier this year after a short three month battle with an aggressive brain tumour. They are raising money for the Yorkshire Brain Tumour charity. I know it's a bad time of year to donate, but if anyone has just a small amount they would be happy to donate to this worthy cause and to support my kids and Mum I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much xx

I'm conscious I have been so quiet on here recently. My last wedding for 2024 has happened and so I have been busy starting planning sessions with both 2025 and 2026 couples. I should now have dates scheduled in with all of my 2025 couples or we have already had a meeting. Wedding plans / Schedules are flying out of my email. Five sent last night and two more so far today. My next wedding is in January. If anyone needs support with their wedding, please feel free to make contact.

I don’t often post about personal things but I thought credit should be given where credit is due. On Saturday evening my family and I visited Iron Lillies (https://www.instagram.com/iron.lilies) restaurant in Hull. This restaurant opened its doors in July and has received some particularly scathing reviews - so much so that it very nearly put me off visiting. However it’s a new venture and with all new ventures come teething problems. So we gave it a go. And I’m pleased we did. The decor was unique; the tables were clean; the service was great; and the food was delicious. Sometimes new businesses have to be given that chance to shine.

And an added bonus to the evening was live music provided by James Wood. A pianist and singer - he was incredible and I’d recommend him to any of my couples!

I had the pleasure of meeting lots of couples this evening at the Old Wheat Barn. So much interest in this beautiful venue with one couple even securing their date for 2026 tonight.

A massive congratulations to Lauren and Jake who married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony yesterday at the Old Wheat Barn, The Pink Pig Farm. It has been great being on their wedding journey with them and helping them to plan such an incredible day.
