Hi folks
I'm sorry to say I was knocked off my motorbike on the 11th April and sustained 2 fractures to my pelvis. I had a week in hospital and, although I am now home, I will be unable to work for the foreseeable future 😪

Last night was the Equity East Yorkshire and Humber Region AGM. Our chairman had arranged for it to be held at Northern Films Studio in Hull.
The place is very whimsical with interesting things to look at everywhere! After our meeting and buffet we were treated to a tour of the sets and recording studios (no pictures of those allowed sadly).

2 private parties this weekend, face painting and balloon modelling. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures, but the parents on both days were very complimentary.
Today's party was at Gainsborough, a 5th birthday party that was 3 hours long. Some parents started to leave after 2 hours. I was working near a window and thought I saw something out the corner of my eye. It was 2 little hands on the window ledge. I leant over and looked out just as the little girl stood back and smiled and waved. She had run across the grass from their car to say goodbye to me. I waved and blew her a kiss and she blew me one back 🥰 She ran back to her dad and there was more waving and kisses blown. Dad gave me a big thumbs up. It made my day and I'm sure it made hers too 😊

I had a lovely time entertaining at Edwards birthday party yesterday. Sunningdale Court Care Home is a lovely facility with amazing, friendly staff 😁
