Congratulations to Edupaws for becoming an accredited City & Guilds Exam Centre!
We are proud to be helping them bring this much needed specialised learning to our village.

🐾 EduPaws: Learning That Feels Pawsitive
At EduPaws, we believe every young person deserves an education that fits — not one they must squeeze themselves into. As an alternative to mainstream school, we specialise in supporting learners with SEND needs and behavioural challenges, offering a space where they can grow, thrive, and feel genuinely understood.
Our approach blends functional skills, life skills, and employability skills, ensuring each learner’s journey is meaningful, practical, and tailored to their future. And we’re thrilled to share some exciting news: EduPaws is now an accredited City & Guilds Exam Centre. This milestone means our young people can achieve recognised qualifications in a setting where they feel safe, supported, and celebrated.
Of course, no EduPaws update would be complete without mentioning our four‑legged team members. Our wonderful therapy dogs play a huge role in wellbeing, confidence building, and emotional regulation — offering comfort, calm, and a wagging tail whenever it’s needed most.
Looking ahead, we’re expanding opportunities beyond the classroom. We’re currently exploring local work experience placements in areas such as construction, agriculture, animal care, and more. A concerned resident has mentioned to us that there is a large amount of dog poo wing left on the village green. 3 lots within feet of the dog poo bin on short lane. These have been cleared.
Please clean up after your pets - the village green is used by many people including children.

Hello everyone. As you may know, we have Edupaws teaching at the village hall 4 days a week and we are planning a spot of gardening for some of the children.
Does anyone have a few plants that we could have to plant up some pots and hanging baskets? The children will be supervised and a couple of the lads are keen to get stuck in and get their hands dirty.
