Plans for Tiree Wave Classic 2026…
After the whirlwind that was the 2025 event, plans are well underway for 2026 event!
Dates are the 10th to the 16th (inc) October 2026 with competition days being set for 11th to 16th (inc).
Plans include all of the usual competition for all fleets, youth training camp, big beach clean etc etc. but we also hope to look at some evening events in the event HQ, the BWA AGM, ‘Meet the Pros’ etc etc.
New for 2026 will be the additional opportunity for the top four Youths to ascend to the Ams Fleet and the top four Ams to ascend to the Pro Fleet. This will give some additional heat opportunities to those moving through the development processes and add some additional incentives for competitors. This means that fleets will be prioritised in that order to allow for this to happen. Additionally we hope to offer expressions sessions for all fleets once formal competition results are obtained.
All we need now are wind, waves and competitors to make this happen!
We look forward to see all in nine months time!
In the meantime get out there and get ripping!
