I took a case of my vinyl records out yesterday afternoon to play for Wearevinylbar ( give this page a follow !) and here’s what you need to know!
The Vinyl Bar isn’t your evening wedding Dj/entertainment ❌
In honesty from the ones done so far I would say it sits in one of two parts of the day ;
- while your signing ✍️ and having photos done with close family.
Your guests sometimes aren’t sure what to do or where they should be- vinyl bar keeps them entertained, soundtracks those couple of hours and means your guests are involved and interactive
- after your food/speeches
There’s often a pocket of time after food and before the evening entertainment, band or DJ, starts. We’ve even been known to stay on and do the first dance on vinyl
So what is Vinyl Bar ?
It’s an interactive vinyl record station where your guests can delve into our boxes and find a track they want to hear, pass to the DJ and it’s played on vinyl for all to enjoy, there’s always been something special about playing music on vinyl and now you can have that on your special day
But it’s more than that;
- it’s that track you find that you had forgotten about
- it’s that song that reminds you of someone in the room and brings back a memory for you both
- it’s that guilty pleasure artist you find at the back of the box
- maybe it’s that moment you come across the anthem of the stag do or hen night and need to play it for the squad
It often starts as back ground music with some great album track choices and as the drinks flow it often leads to more singalong tracks , now and again some 90’s club classics are unleashed by your guests, we’re up on the chairs dancing making memories of your special day that wil never be forgotten 🎶
