The countdown to VIBE – A Gala for Giving is well and truly on!

Here's a little behind-the-scenes look as Hatton Performing Arts swap the studio for the marquee at Scarborough Cricket Club, where they'll be bringing an unforgettable cabaret performance to VIBE this September. 🎭

The stage is set, the excitement is building, and we can't wait to welcome you for an evening of live entertainment, great food and celebration, all in support of Saint Catherine's.

🌟 SUMMER SONGBOOK 2026 🌟

What an incredible evening! 💙

A huge congratulations to every single vocalist who performed at our Summer Songbook last night. From our private singing students to our Musical Theatre performers and our Singing Classes, every one of you should be so proud.

Performing in such an intimate setting isn't easy. With the audience so close, it takes real courage, confidence and trust in your own ability. Yet every performer stepped onto that stage, gave their all and sang with heart. Any nerves you may have been feeling certainly didn't show!

One of the most rewarding parts of the evening was seeing the journey of each vocalist. From those taking their very first steps in performance to our more experienced and accomplished singers, every student has their own story. Watching their confidence, technique and artistry develop is exactly why we do what we do.

What makes our vocal department even more special is the friendships that have been built along the way. The students are genuinely each other's biggest supporters. Every performance was met with cheers, applause and words of encouragement from their fellow singers. The love, respect and pride they have for one another is so obvious to see, and it creates such a positive, inspiring environment where everyone wants each other to succeed. That is something truly special and something we are incredibly proud of.

A special thank you also to Janna Ash for her wonderful arrangement of "From Now On." It was the perfect finale, bringing everyone together and beautifully capturing the spirit of our vocal family.

Finally, thank you to everyone who came along to support the performers. It was wonderful to see parents, grandparents, family and friends filling the room and encouraging not only their own loved ones, but every student who took to the stage. Your applause, smiles and encouragement helped make the evening so memorable.

To every singer... thank you for sharing your talent, your courage and your passion with us.

We're delighted to welcome Shannon Rewcroft to Hatton Performing Arts this summer!

Shannon is a professional actor, voice artist and director from Scarborough with over 10 years' experience teaching performers of all ages.

Her professional credits include performances at the London Palladium, Stephen Joseph Theatre, Orange Tree Theatre, Harrogate Theatre and Theatre Royal Windsor, working with companies including Bill Kenwright Productions, Original Theatre Company and Story Pocket Theatre.

Shannon's workshops combine professional musical theatre training with creativity, confidence and a fun, supportive environment where young performers can thrive.

Join us for a relaxed evening celebrating our incredible singers, from students performing solo for the very first time to our more experienced vocalists.

Our vocal students are taught by faculty members Shannon Rewcroft and Matt Brooksbank. Our Junior, Intermediate and Senior Singing Classes will also be performing "From Now On", arranged by Janna Ash.

Plus, enjoy a special sneak peek of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" from our Musical Theatre students—a little taste of what's to come this year!
