WE’RE HIRING – ONE POSITION AVAILABLE

We are looking for one friendly, reliable and hardworking person to join our team at Play Planet Scarborough, with an immediate start available.

Hours will vary depending on demand, including weekdays and weekends, so this role would suit someone looking for flexible work who may also be available to provide last-minute cover for shifts.

The role will involve covering a variety of duties, including:

• Pot wash and general cleaning
• Front of house
• Serving customers
• Hosting children’s parties
• Dressing up as various characters
• Supervising the drop slide
• Helping in the Play Village
• Supporting the team wherever needed

No two shifts are the same, so we are looking for someone confident, approachable and happy to get involved in all areas of the business.

Applicants must be aged 16 or over.

🌍 We're Open! Welcome to Play Planet! 🎉

Tomorrow we'll be opening our doors for the first time as Play Planet, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back!

Over the last two weeks we've been working incredibly hard to transform the centre, and you'll already notice some amazing changes, including:
✨ A fresh new look throughout
🎨 Newly decorated play areas
🚻 Fully refurbished toilets
🧸 Brand new carpets
💙 Lots of improvements to create an even better experience for our families.

Like any major refurbishment, we've experienced a few unexpected supplier and contractor delays, so we're still putting the finishing touches to some exciting new features, including our brand-new role play area.

We're opening as planned because we have lots of birthday parties booked and can't wait to see everyone again. We'll continue working behind the scenes over the coming days, and once everything is complete we'll announce our official Grand Opening—we promise it'll be worth the wait!

Thank you so much for your patience, support and understanding. We're so excited to welcome you to the new Play Planet and start this next chapter together.

✨ Big Changes Are Coming! ✨

We are incredibly excited to announce that The Secret Realm is entering a brand new chapter!

Following a recent change in ownership and management, we are investing heavily in the future of The Secret Realm and are delighted to reveal that we will soon be reopening as Play Planet! 🌍🎉

To allow us to carry out an exciting refurbishment, we will be closed from Monday 22nd June until Friday 3rd July.

🚧 Closed for Refurbishment: Monday 22nd June – Friday 3rd July
🎈 Grand Reopening Weekend: Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th July

During this time, we'll be working hard behind the scenes to give Play Planet a fresh new look, make improvements throughout the venue, and enhance the experience for all our customers.

📸 We'll also be sharing regular updates, sneak peeks, and progress photos as the transformation unfolds, so make sure you keep an eye on our page!

🎂 All pre-booked parties will continue as normal and will not be affected by the refurbishment. If you have a party booked with us, there is no need to do anything – we will be in touch directly if required.

All current memberships will be carried through to be used as Play Planet!

We would like to thank all of our customers for your continued support and patience as we make these exciting improvements. We are incredibly proud to be taking over The Secret Realm and can't wait to welcome both new and returning families to Play Planet.

Due to everyone making the most of this amazing weather, we will be closing today from 4:00 PM and will remain closed tomorrow.
