Job Ad: Exciting Opportunities at The Corner Kitchen!

We're looking for reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic team members to help us with an exciting new chapter for the business.

We have two types of roles available: a key part-time position and casual/bank staff.

1. Part-Time Staff Member
This is a great opportunity to be a key part of our team that could lead to full time. We're looking for one main person who can handle our Friday shop hours and become a go-to for our event catering jobs.
* Fridays in the Shop: You will help run the shop on Fridays, preparing our popular sandwiches and serving customers. This is a consistent, weekly shift.
* Event Catering: This work will be on an "as-needed" basis, with flexible hours. You will assist with food preparation, event setup and serving/help delivering at a variety of local events. Transportation is generally included, so car not essential.

2. Casual/Bank Staff
We are also building a small team of reliable casual staff to help with our event catering on an as-needed basis. This is perfect for someone looking for flexible, occasional work that can fit around other commitments and earn some extra income.

Who We're Looking For:
* Dependable and adaptable: You can commit to a regular Friday shift (for the part time role) or be available for flexible event work (for casual roles).
* A people person: You enjoy interacting with customers and providing great, polite service.
* Smart appearance.
* Experience isn't essential: We can train the right person, but previous experience in food service or events is a bonus.

🐷🥒 HAM, EGG AND CHIPS! 🥒🐷

It's making a special guest appearance! After numerous requests for its return, we have the Ham, Egg and Chips sandwich today. Ham, slow cooked in Coca Cola, a raisin sauce, soft boiled egg and skinny baked fries, topped with our signature pickles in the warm, fluffy bread.

I didn't get chance to finalise our other new special - The Ploughman, due to me being interviewed for Scarborough Spy! We should be all good for tomorrow though 😋

I've been a busy bee setting up my new gourmet sandwich shop! Some of my old favourite bakes will be on offer but with a totally new selection of big, stacked hot sandwiches.
