Hannah Velour (formerly known as HNA) is a Scarborough-based DJ whose journey began in Leeds over a decade ago. Now co-running Phuturist, a forward-thinking night on the Yorkshire coast, she’s also a regular presence across Scarborough’s vibrant scene with collect

ives like Secret Sub Rosa, Gathering by the Sea, Whateverest, and more. Her sound flows through progressive house, melodic techno, deep minimal, and hypnotic grooves - always evolving and never tied to one formula. From uplifting daytime bar grooves at The Crescent Lounge to deeper, late-night sessions, Hannah Velour thrives on shaping sets that respond to the energy in the room and guide dancers through moments of connection, release, and escape. Beyond the dancefloor, she hosts Now and Next, her monthly show on Data Transmission Radio, where she showcases the tunes of the moment- spanning house and techno in all their forms, from deep and rolling to driving and euphoric. For Hannah Velour, DJing is about the journey - immersive, melodic, and transformative - taking the dancefloor somewhere new, somewhere they didn’t know they needed to go.
