We pride ourselves in our performance and high service which make us very much stand out from the rest, and we happily perform at any type of location. Dobomuisc maintains and invest in new technology

🎤 A great evening providing sound support for Tony Skingle as Elvis! 🎶

JD Productions had a fantastic night at The George at Upton, providing sound support and playback for Tony Skingle’s brilliant Elvis tribute show. 🕺🎤

It’s always a pleasure working with Tony, and another brilliant show with a great crowd and atmosphere from start to finish!

It was also great to see our JD Productions stage rack out doing exactly what it was built for keeping everything together, connected and running smoothly throughout the show. 🎚️🔊

A massive thank you to all the staff at The George at Upton as well. They genuinely couldn’t do enough for us from the moment we arrived and made the whole job an absolute pleasure.

Connecting Scarborough with Haiti!

This evening, the JD Productions team were out providing technical support for Scarborough Rotary Club, helping bring together a very special international presentation.

We supplied our dB Technologies PA system, along with our stage rack setup, running through our Soundcraft Ui16 digital mixer.

The system was used to support a live Zoom meeting and presentation, connecting Scarborough Rotary Club with the Global Eye Project in Haiti ensuring clear, reliable audio throughout the evening.

It was great to use our equipment for something a little different and to help make a connection spanning thousands of miles possible.

JD PRODUCTIONS SOUND SYSTEM UPDATE

We’ve been busy making some upgrades to our live sound setup, giving us even more flexibility for everything from smaller events right through to full-scale live productions!

Our sound setup now features:

Midas M32 Digital Console
Full Waves SuperRack setup for live plugin processing
Behringer SD16 Digital Stage Box
Soundcraft Ui16 Digital Mixer
Network infrastructure for remote control and system management
Dedicated amplification and output distribution
All housed within our JD Productions stage rack

For our larger shows, festivals and productions, the Midas M32, SD16 and Waves SuperRack give us a powerful and flexible system capable of handling demanding live productions while keeping everything streamlined between the stage and FOH.

But not every event needs the full size M32 package! The Soundcraft Ui16 is built into our stage rack specifically for smaller events where bringing out the full M32 setup simply isn’t required. This allows us to offer the same professional approach in a much more compact package, with quicker setup and wireless control.

And it all works perfectly alongside our new dBTechnologies PA system!

The new PA, combined with our upgraded control and stage rack setup, gives us a complete sound package that we can scale depending on the event. Whether it’s a smaller function using the Ui16, or a larger live production with the M32, SD16 and Waves SuperRack, our dBTechnologies system can sit at the heart of either setup.

It means less unnecessary equipment for smaller jobs, while still having plenty of capability when the bigger productions come along.

We’re really pleased with how the whole system is coming together and can’t wait to keep putting it to work!

🎤 That’s a wrap on our summer festival season! 💗

Yesterday, we were proud to provide the full audio production for the Ladies in Pink Summer Fair.

For this event, we deployed the Midas M32 FOH rig, complete with Waves SuperRack live plugin processing, alongside our dBTechnologies PA system, delivering exceptional sound quality for performances, speeches and entertainment throughout the day.

Our team also provided both a Front of House Engineer and a Monitor Engineer, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish and giving performers the confidence they needed on stage.

This event marked our final festival of the summer, and what a fantastic way to round off a busy season!

A huge thank you to the Ladies in Pink team for once again choosing JD Productions. It’s always a pleasure to support your events, and we’re incredibly grateful to have been part of them for several years running.

Yesterday also marked Tom’s last event with JD Productions for a little while as he prepares to begin his journey into the Royal Navy this September. Tom has been a huge part of our team, and we’d like to thank him for all of his hard work, dedication and countless hours he’s put into making our events a success. We wish him every success in this exciting new chapter and look forward to welcoming him back whenever he’s able to join us again. Fair winds, Tom! ⚓️

We’re already looking forward to working with the Ladies in Pink team again this November at Cayton Bay Holiday Park, and we can’t wait to do it all again!

A look back at an incredible event and a setup we’re proud to have delivered.

From the stunning marquee and stage setup to the atmospheric lighting, live entertainment and packed dancefloor, it was fantastic to see the vision come to life and create such a special evening for everyone involved.

The JD Productions team provided the sound, lighting, staging and event production throughout the event, helping to transform the venue into an unforgettable celebration space.

A Busy Weekend Ahead for JD Productions!

This weekend is shaping up to be a busy one, with the JD Productions team delivering two events across the weekend.

The team are hard at work preparing equipment, checking sound and lighting systems, organising logistics, and making sure everything is ready to go. A lot of work happens behind the scenes before we even arrive on site, and we’re excited to bring both events to life.
