It was a true winter wedding for L+D yesterday with a thick covering of snow on the ground - the wedding photos are going to be stunning!

I teamed white orchids and tulips with hints of icy lilac (to match the bride's amazing purple hair!) and a variety of foliage forms including three different ferns, monstera leaves, begonia leaves and eucalyptus.

Special thanks go to team for coming to my rescue after my delivery was cancelled, and even digging us out the snow when we got stuck!

Turns out trying to fit a year into 20 images is quite difficult!

Looking back on all these photos makes me feel proud of what I have achieved with FERN this year. I found the year quite difficult as I adjusted to lots of changes so I scaled back my plans for the business a lot - but I realise I actually managed to pack in a fair bit!

Weddings, workshops, orders, unfortunately a funeral in amongst it all, starting to build up the - I'm not going to lie it was difficult fitting flowers into my brain around everything else going on but looking back I am so happy with what I did and all the beautiful things I got to create for my customers.

Going into 2026 I feel more inspired, I know more about what I can put into the business and what it's going to look like and I'm excited to try some new things.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me in any way this year - lots of love to you all and I wish you a peaceful and contented 2026 🩷❤️🌿

It's the day before Christmas Eve and I'm sure everyone is getting excited and enjoying some festive time with family and friends, maybe a well earned few days off work or even just some quiet time away from the chaos.

I had planned for more wreaths to be made, maybe some table decorations on offer and a few Christmas fairs this year - but after a lot of changes and challenges this year it wasn't to be and I ended up focussing my time and energy on other things. Next Christmas I'm hoping to give much more to my little business and share some festive flowers and fun with all of you.

I'm now enjoying my first ever real Christmas tree in my own little house with my lovely James - how lucky am I.

Christmas can be overwhelming, difficult, and lonely for some people - so sending love to anyone struggling.

Merry Christmas to all - hope you have a joyous, peaceful and contended time ❤️🌿

While I said I wasn't doing a wreath workshop this year I did make an exception for a few friends and family members when I went back to my hometown for a little visit.

I had the loveliest weekend helping them make wreaths from materials cut from their own gardens, meaning each one was super personal. Every single one was different and had so much texture and interest. It was so lovely to share what I do just as a little social occasion for loved ones 🥰

I promise I'll be announcing some workshops in the new year so keep your eyes peeled for posts on here and on my website 🌿🩷
