However, what if you are planning to have little guests at your wedding?

Maybe you have your own children? Your siblings have children? Your best friends have just had babies?

Children can bring such joy to a wedding but there are times when parents could do use a little help.

Children seem to have a need to eat constantly, they need to use the toilet at the most unfortunate moments, if they need a nap they need a nap…
They also get bored of watching grown ups talking so what can you do to help parents enjoy your wedding whilst also parenting their little people?

That’s the thing with being self employed… there’s always something to think about… improvements to be made, admin to be done, new marketing strategies to consider, new ideas for social media & so on…

I may have taken a break from social media over summer but that doesn’t mean weddings weren’t on my mind & I’d like to be better at being more present. I find writing things down helps a lot so I need to do more of that.

Hello… It’s been a little while but I’m back!

I planned to take a short break away from my phone over August but here we are heading towards October & a whole new season…

For those who are new around here, I’m Holly.
The face behind Bell of the Ball and the one who’ll be looking after your gorgeous little people at weddings.

I have two children of my own, have just finished working as a childminder & I’m back working as a Wedding Nanny and giving parents a well deserved break!

Weddings are wonderful and children bring a lot of joy to the day but for parents it can be a juggle… they want to join in the celebrations, catch up with friends & family members, enjoy a drink or two and maybe even stay up late and enjoy a boogie but young children have needs... they get bored, hungry and tired.

My job is to make sure any little ones are well cared for so their parents can bring them along but also enjoy the wedding without feeling like they’re missing out.

Welcome to Bell of the Ball… the luxury wedding service your guests will be sure to remember… but what do I offer?

A childcare service that fits in with you & your child/children’s needs.
I can be there in the morning whilst you prepare for the day, I can stay until you’ve finished dancing the night away, and anything inbetween 🤍

If the weathers on our side I can pitch one of my beautiful bell tents filled with lovely hand picked toys, games, books, dressing up costumes & craft to keep any little ones busy.
I can also be on hand here to supervise.

If not, I can create the perfect playroom inside your chosen venue.

Craft tables have proven really popular with children at weddings in the last few years. I really love putting these together and seeing the children’s imaginations thrive.
This has been known to keep little guests busy for hours!

Here’s a glimpse into our Monday morning home “school” (I prefer to use the term home educate because our life does not represent a school but our Monday mornings are more structured than the rest of the week).
