Ooh yes! I've enjoyed some smashing ones: in a barn lit with candles while it was pitch dark outside; one with snowy hills as the backdrop to the photos; one where one of the brides wore a full length, hooded cape (sensational) and several where the venue had its Christmas decorations up and an enormous Christmas tree was the ceremony backdrop. ALL the seasons can be wedding season 🥰

We're looking forward to the beautiful humanist winter weddings!

Outside in the crisp air with the chance of snow or the cosy indoor winter weddings filled with candles, twinkling lights, friends, and family. We love them all.

Of course you can! Every ceremony is written from scratch and so completely personal - you can include whatever you want (except religion!)

Yes, you most certainty can!

Is there a non-religious version of the word ‘godparent’?

Yes!

The most popular alternative to ‘godparent’ is ‘guideparent’, but some families say ‘mentor’ or ‘guardian’. Others go for a more light-hearted term like ‘sparent’ or ‘oddparent’.
And, some go for tradition and stick with 'godparent'
