This is one wedding cake I will never forget making ♡
3 tiers of Navy iced cake with a marble panel finished off with gold leaf.
Matching cupcakes for the children.
I rushed to the venue on the morning to make sure I had in there on time.
A kind lady popped a tablecloth on a little table for me so I could unbox and set up the cake.
A few minutes later the manager comes across to tell me they do not have a wedding on at that venue on that day.
I was sooo confused!
I had to re box and wrap both the cake and the cupcakes.
Turns out I was a day early!
Something I have never done before.
It had been a funny week for me at home (1 child off school for 2 days) another child sedated to have a tooth removed on the Friday and in all the chaos I lost track of my dates.
Thankfully it was the right venue, and they were very kind in letting the cake and cupcakes combo be stored there overnight until it was needed the day after.
Big thank you to the bride also for being so understanding about my mishap.
We are only human and I will never forget delivering your cake a day early!
All the very best for married life, wishing you both a lifetime filled with happiness ♡
