Can we just stop a minute. ✋️

Can we please NORMALISE allowing a few days for small businesses to reply to business enquiries.

I am a SOLE trader.
That means i am the Baker, the designer, the decorater, the delivery lady, the box assembler, the stock rotater, the admin lady, the banker, the accountant, the social media manager, the cleaner, the shopper and the dishwasher.

Its also the summer holidays and I have 4 children to work around. (Who also have SEN needs!)

I am also the carer, the nurse, the maid, the cook, the driver, the dresser, the washer, the book reader, the toy picker upper, the picnic maker, the dog walker, the boo boo kisser, the referee, the snack maker, the advocate, the bather, the Mum!

I am only one person. Doing the role of about 6.
I get fully booked weeks in advance. If you need me to reply instantly that isnt going to happen and im probably not the Baker for you.

If I am working on a custom cake order, that cake order has my full attention. Im not interested in booking more in while im working on that one cake because I take pride in my work.
Equally if I take my children out for a picnic during the holidays, they get my full attention because I take pride in being a mum.

If other bakers have the time to sit and reply back to messages straight away, they either have more than just one person working for that business, they dont have kids to look after at the same time as trying to run a business, they are having a quiet spell or they have nothing booked in the diary.
Either way, this isnt me.

I am more than happy to answer any enquiries, give quotes and advice.

Please just be mindful that some of us are doing things completely on our own and its hard work already without rude and abrupt messages.

So please, allow a few days for a message to be replied too.

Its not asking much,
just a little patience ♡
