Digbeth Dining Club - on Saturday I decided to go and sample the offerings at this popular local spot. I had read about this previously, but never been to - until now!
Like me, if your new to this or a first timer and want an insight.. this is just for you.

It started at 12pm and I arrived at around the right time. There was a variety of traders, offering a different food choices and some drinks. The prices where slightly high, there was some dishes you may not usually eat (at home) and the vibe was ok.
I noticed there was not many ethnic people. Keeping in mind I was there for up to 2 hours!
I tried 3 different foods and had 2 drinks. The experience was what I expected, though felt there could have been more options; better seating; maybe covering a larger area and more music. Nevertheless it was something to do & a day out for many, as it was getting busier later into the day.

This year's theme is 'Stories To Tell'

Being of a British-Indian background, and seeing a unique niche within the South Asian dispora. I felt there was a need to create a platform on which all types of related events were shared for anyone to join.

It's a way to show the public how diverse these groups are. Not only in terms of cultures, but also in the variety of events offered.

In modern times we can see a positive movement towards creating inclusiveness. Seeing how different cultures come together to collaborate, offer services, and engage.
