Announcement

It’s with great sadness that we announce the retirement of three wonderful wedding cars from our books today. The wedding car industry has seen a significant decline since Covid, and with more venues now offering in-house ceremonies, it has certainly taken its toll on many of us.

At Wight Ribbon Wedding Cars, we want to reassure our couples that we have no intention of parting with our beloved Viscount or Beauford, and we know that the New Yorker and Windsor are also here to stay.

With only one other car now available on the Island (outside of ourselves), it’s more important than ever to book early to avoid disappointment. If having a beautiful classic car is part of your dream day, please make it a top priority on your wedding planning list.

There are so many beautiful churches and venues on the Island that it's always been hard for me to choose a favourite until yesterday.

Appley Tower in Ryde completely stole my heart. With its fairytale charm, sweeping coastal views, and peaceful atmosphere, it felt like something out of a dream. A truly magical, perfect blend of history, beauty, and serenity.
