Wow it has been hot today 🥵

We had to cut our visit short today as it just got far too hot, and unfortunately where we were located (in some shade) didn't get much of a breeze coming through.
We have also cancelled tomorrow's afternoon care home visit, this can be rearranged for a cooler day which will be better for the animals and probably work out better for the residents too as I'm sure they won't enjoy the heat either.

We will be keeping an eye on the forecasted temperatures for the rest of the week and be in touch if we do need to change anything for the welfare of the animals 💖

We had the loveliest afternoon at The Mews when Cheshire Farm came to visit and brought some very special (and furry) company with them.

Lambs season is slowly coming to an end soon, I have had a couple of enquiries the last few days for lambs to visit in July or later in the year, sometimes it is forgotten that little lambs don't stay little forever.
Our big boys have had a lovely holiday whilst the lambs have been busy and it will soon be time for the big boys to make an appearance again... just a heads up as I hate to disappoint... But who could be disappointed with these handsome chaps!? 🤷‍♀️

We don't just have any old sheep here, we have Valais Blacknose sheep, known as the world's cutest sheep, too posh to be on a plate 😂
