You may have seen a recent trend of hospitality businesses posting pictures of their delicious food and stating a person's name and saying they had left without paying... scroll to the end of the photos and its actually all a joke... I too was caught out by this joke at first and then I got reading some comments, comments from people saying how awful it is to advertise in this way as this is actually happening to a lot of businesses for real and its not a laughing matter... and you know what they are so right!!

I currently have 14, yes FOURTEEN outstanding payments.
Some of these are agreed with care homes or schools that their payments will be made on specific dates, but others are not and should have been paid on the day of invoicing or on the day our visits were carried out.

I have got many many mouths to feed here, humans and animals, as well as staff wages to pay. With delayed payments like this it puts an extra strain on small businesses, and it is actually very rude especially when messages and emails are being ignored.

If my invoice is in your pile then please pay it.
If my message is being left on unread please open it. I would never ever ever in a million years treat somebody like that.
Maybe I should post pictures with the names on of people who haven't paid yet, except mine would be real names πŸ™ƒ

Have a picture of my gorgeous baby as a reminder that I have a family to feed too.

A moment for our beauty Marilyn πŸ‘‘
Once she was a crazy little yellow chick who shouted at us constantly for attention, but now she has settled into a beautiful and calm therapy animal who loves her visits out!

If you would like a visit from our gorgeous animals we have a very limited amount of availability left for September and are already booking up for the remainder of the year as well as up to May 2027! It's never too early to book your visit πŸ“†

I haven't properly updated the page in a good few weeks, I've struggled to find motivation to be honest in what has been a bit of rollercoaster of ups and downs recently.

The heat has been exhausting, we've been super busy with visits which is amazing but also super busy at the stables keeping on top of everything and making sure the animals are doing ok in what is pretty much a drought.
The fields are dead, there's no nice green grass for the animals to eat, we are having to feed the sheep hay in the field already which usually is just a winter thing and they are even having soaked grass nuts and a special mix for breakfast and tea to make sure they are getting enough nutrients!
There's also the worry of Bluetongue which you may have seen on the news, it is a viral disease spread from biting midges and it is making its way up the country now from the Southwest. Our sheep have all been vaccinated to try and offer them some protection if they were unlucky enough to be bitten by an infected midge, so we just have to keep fingers crossed now that no diseased midges come our way!

On top of this I sadly had to have my first goat Alfie put to sleep a couple of weeks ago πŸ’” after suffering with his health on and off all year it became clear his time was coming to an end and I didn't want him to suffer any more than he already had. I will forever be grateful to Alfie for putting up with my crazy idea of starting a mobile farm and throwing him in the deep end at the very beginning. A tiny goat with a big warm heart, what an amazing little guy he was πŸ’™πŸŒˆ

A couple of good things that's been happening though now...
Baby Blossom, the long legged floppy eared cutie pie goat who only had 3 working legs when I collected her from her breeder, which then quickly declined to two working legs a few days later... I am pleased to announce that she now has FOUR working legs! She has also been out on a few visits with us since her legs got better and she is just the star of the show πŸ‘‘

And last bit if news... it has now been 10 years since I decided to quit my job and start my pony party business, which then expanded into what it is today πŸ‘πŸπŸ°πŸ£πŸΉπŸ¦„

If you got to the end of this post THANK YOU for the continued support πŸ™πŸ’œ
