Just a reminder that our next monthly Repair Café will be at Saltford Hall today from 11am – 1pm to repair your items. We are doing this in conjunction with Share & Repair who are a charity in Bath and North East Somerset. Their aim is to help local people save money and the planet through reduce, repair and reuse.
Please pop down with your item needing a helping hand or simply come along and say hello. As well as being able to get your broken items looked at or sharpened, we will also be running our community café alongside offering our legendary Newton Farm bacon rolls, as well as other rolls, home-made cakes and Fairtrade tea/coffee.
We will also have someone available to help with advice on Macs and devices if you need it and are still looking for someone to provide advice on Microsoft/Window devices.
Finally, the Community Blood Pressure Team will be offering free blood pressure checks at this event. No need to book, just turn up on the day. High blood pressure often has no symptoms but it can be dangerous if not treated. The checks are carried out by friendly and qualified clinicians, with advice and support available.
The repairers are taking a month off and will not be around in August 2026.
