We had a blast (pardon the pun) yesterday at the Firework Champions event at Ragley Hall, providing the Grand Finale display to wrap up this seasons line of events, a true honour 👌

A big day today at Firework Champions, we are delivering the finale show tonight wrapping up the 2024 line of events!

The team have been working hard on this show, really looking forward to seeing our imagination come to life in the sky 🎆

The Igniters have popped, the gunpowder burnt and the smoke has cleared.. WHAT a spectacular night of fireworks that was at Belvoir Castle Firework Champions

The paying audience really got their moneys worth, the class of the shows was nothing short of top tier. By far the toughest and most fierce round of competition we have ever been in.

Sharing the field with giants such as Komodo Fireworks, SMART Pyro and GALA doing the finale, we knew we were the underdog from the start. It was clear we needed to up our game if we was to stand a chance.

It was a very close competition with very little in it, we managed 2nd place and displayed one of our best displays to date, a massive thank you to our display crew, and an extended thank you to MLE Pyrotechnics Limited for having us once again.

PTSD, something that the anti-firework brigade are quick to quote in their bid to ban fireworks.

They use it in a "blanket" or "Sweeping" statement with the focus that all people people suffering from PTSD, typically veterans, are "tortured" by fireworks.....

Meet Nathan, retired Section Commander from 2 lancs, served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He suffers dramatically from PTSD, even a door slamming shut can trigger him in to taking cover under cars, behind walls, dragging his wife out of bed to protect her, literally he is the epitome of post war PTSD.

The picture and video say it all, his first year in many where he has celebrated bonfire night with his family.

He refuses to let his condition prevent his family from enjoying the delights of fireworks, and he refuses to accept, infact contests that all PTSD sufferers would want fireworks banning.

He thinks most veterans are Pro fireworks, and doesn't agree millions should be refused the right to a free world and use fireworks in a 400 year old british tradition!

He like many PTSD sufferers are fed up of being used as a weapon for the anti-firework brigade. So please, the next time you see the anti-fireworks mob using PTSD in their arguments, give them a bit of truth!
