Meet the writers and artists behind Wow Comix Presents number one at Sale Comic Con: Saturday 6 June.

have you got your copy of Wow Comix Presents yet? Don't worry if you have not, there will be lots of free copies at Sale Comic Con. You can also meet the writers and artists who worked on the comic and you can get them to autograph your copy in the conveniently placed autograph section.

Less than two weeks away. Dinner with the Doctor and Sale Comic Con.

Two chances to see Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred soon, but for one of them time is running out so do not hang about!

First we have Dinner with the Doctor on Friday 5th June (that is next week if you have not been paying attention). Help support The Mayors Charity, meet the new Mayor of Trafford, meet the staars and enjoy a three course meal.

There are just a few tickets left but booking closes on Saturday 30th June. You can get them from the Sale Festival website in the whats on section.

Then on Saturday 6th June we have Sale Comic Con where you can meet Sylvester and Sophie in Sale Library from 10.30am.

Splendid time had by all at B for Butterfly this afternoon with the legend that is Mr Doug Naylor, co-creator of Red Dwarf. He was there signing copies of his new book Sin Bin Island.

Cartoonist Rick Eades also came along to grab a copy of the book and to help us promote our new comic, Wow Comix Presents issue No.1 (which features some great work by Rick).

Today was the official launch of Sale Festival 2026. It was also the launch of our new comic, Wow Comix Presents issue No.1.

We gave away hundreds of free copies today and there will be plenty of free copies available at Sale Comic Convention on Saturday 6th June. In the meantime you can pick up a copy at various locations around town including Shine, Sale cinema, Emporium m33 and the library.

We have mentioned this before. A chance to meet Sylvester and Sophie whilst enjoying a delicious three course meal and all for charity. There is a point where the practical meets the artistic and this is certainly it. From a practical point of view here is a map of all the events and locations for Sale Comic Con 2026, but nobody can be in doubt about the artistic skill that went in to this map.
