Bible Chapel up date
Since putting a post out over the weekend I have since discovered that the Community Land Trust St Ives CLT have been working to obtain the Chapel as a community asset for the last year. If their endeavours are successful the Chapel will be saved from private development. The plans can be viewed on Thier website.

As many of you may know the Bible Chapel in St Peter's Street St Ives is going to Auction on the 5th of December and will no doubt be turned into second home apartments. I really feel this would be a great loss to the community. I think it would make a fantastic Community Theatre Hub. I have worked in theatre for most of my life most recently The Boathouse Theatre that Jason and I ran together. We know that if the community pull together it would be a fantastic venue and asset to the town benefiting not just the town but visitors too. The fly in the ointment is ownership, but what a great opportunity for someone to put into St Ives and be part of. If you are interested please get in touch.
