St Ives Guildhall A multi-purpose venue in the heart of St Ives Cornwall with capacity for up to 500 people. Enquiries from promoters and event organisers welcome.

Available for a range of events including live music, theatre, opera, comedy, sport, roller disco, markets, fairs, corporate events and lots more. As well as our main concert hall we have smaller rooms available for hire - including council chamber, mayors parlour and committee room. We are the main venue for St Ives September Festival. Also available for private bookings for weddings and parties.

On Friday the 18th of September, Councillors joined the Guildhall Project’s contractor, Symons Construction Ltd, on the newly completed Guildhall forecourt to mark the first finished phase of this important project.

The renewed space preserves the historic character of the Guildhall while creating a more welcoming and accessible entrance, with new granite paving, improved event infrastructure, and step-free access to both the Guildhall and Concert Hall.

With the forecourt now complete, work continues inside the Concert Hall ahead of its planned reopening in spring 2027.

Exciting progress is being made at the Guildhall!

The newly landscaped forecourt is planned to reopen on Friday the 18th of September, marking the first completed part of the Guildhall Renewal Project to be returned to the community.

Fencing is coming down, level access is being restored, and one of St Ives' most recognisable civic spaces is ready to welcome people back.

A major milestone and an exciting glimpse of what's to come ahead of the Guildhall reopening in Spring 2027.
