So much love for these two and the magical wedding we created together in this special place just down the hill from house 🥰

Together we combined dried flowers collected from mine and Ginny’s gardens (sprayed with water based colours) and Leksi’s unique handmade bioplastic flowers that she makes from scratch using seaweed to create this bold and beautiful piece of art It was so much fun 😍

Happy Easter 🌷

With wedding season and my daughters GCSEs fast approaching, we have been busy working our way through this holiday, but we did get out to enjoy a blustery coastal walk with friends on Friday, and we are looking forward to bringing in some garden flowers to decorate the table for a family Easter meal this evening.

Even in this month of February, which many consider to be a little bleak, a quiet, breathtaking natural beauty is unfolding all around us.

In these precious weeks, we are granted a beautiful paradox. The world still holds the quieter tones of winter - dark evergreen leaves against an often grey skyline. Yet, beneath this seemingly wintery exterior, new life is already beginning to stir. The colour palette subtly shifts as delicate whites, vibrant lime greens and budding branches tentatively emerge, a gentle but insistent reminder that spring is truly on its way. It is a moment of pure, hopeful transition, where the lingering winter drama only serves to elevate the fragile beauty of what is to come.
