The quiz is back in just two weeks!

August's featured artists will be Australian rock band AC/DC. Plus there will be six other rounds spanning the decades and genres of chart music.

A huge thanks to everyone who joined us on Friday for our latest quiz. Congratulations to our winning team Jimmy Somerville Motown Massacre who not only took first place, but doubled their prize money after picking 1970s out of the hat and correctly identifying number one hit "Float On" by The Floaters.

As always, I've been through your answer sheets, and again there was only one question in the whole quiz that stumped every team. That was identifying "Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy" as The Who compilation album which featured the song "Substitute". Give it a listen!

The quiz is back later this month - and for July's featured artist we're bringing things right up to date, as we shine the spotlight on OLIVIA RODRIGO.

Olivia is currently riding high in the singles chart with her latest releases, but has a back catalogue of many hits and three albums behind her which we'll be digging into. Plus there will be the usual picture round, guess the year round, general pop knowledge round, AND three other themed rounds still to be revealed.

I've now been through all the answer sheets for June's quiz to see how you got on (as I always do)...

There was only ONE question in the whole quiz which no team got right, and that was identifying the act behind this song - Naked Eye by Luscious Jackson, which got to No25 in the UK in 1997.

Some of you guessed the title correctly by listening to the lyrics, although amusingly one team managed to hear it as "Naked Arse"...

Anyway, a great underrated 90s band! The album that this comes from - "Fever In Fever Out" is well worth a listen next time you fancy checking out something a bit different.

Thanks to everybody who came along to last night's quiz, and a particular welcome to the two teams who joined us for the first time.

Congratulations to The Archie Appreciation Society who took the cash prize for first place, despite half their team having abandoned them to watch cricket instead!

Well done also to two other teams for winning rounds of drinks for their tables.

Here are two of our favourite wrong answers from the picture round - but overall you all did very well in what, by common consensus, was a particularly difficult quiz. We'll try to make next month's *slightly* easier...
