So here we go!!! The studio is filled with the smell of pine and eucalyptus, my hands are permanently black and sore and my tea never gets drunk while it’s still hot! It can only mean one thing - wreath making season is in full swing!

I was reminded today that this time last year I had already started making Autumn wreaths. I can’t quite bring myself to move into autumn just yet, I would rather embrace the last of the summer flowers especially with this stunning weather at the moment.

In the meantime, I thought you might be interested to see my spring wreath which has been on my door since the middle of February!!
I will always endeavour to use materials that will dry rather than die giving you a wreath that will dry naturally in situ and last for months if you want it to! I think I actually prefer it as it is now than when I first made it!

Autumn wreaths will be coming soon, I promise and I’m happy to take pre orders now. If you’d like one, just drop me a message.

Come and join Kerrie and I for an evening of festive fun and creativity as we guide you through the process of making a moss based Christmas wreath that you will be truly proud of!

Everything is provided and a glass of Prosecco and delicious pizza slices are included in the price.

These are always extremely popular evenings and spaces are limited so don’t delay! I know it’s only September but Christmas will be upon us before we know it 🤦🏻‍♀️

Goodness me, what an absolutely incredible, emotional, awe inspiring day we have just witnessed.
A moment in history and a truly fitting tribute to our wonderful Queen.
Amongst the pomp and ceremony I loved the simplicity of the floral wreath on her coffin - garden gathered flowers and foliage from Buckingham Palace, Clarence House and Highgrove - simple, symbolic and sustainable. Did anyone else spot the stowaway spider amongst the flowers?
As for the eight pallbearers from the Grenadier Guards - I hope those boys have got their boots off and their feet up tonight - what a truly remarkable job they did, with the eyes of the world on them, they were absolutely flawless!

This time last week I had the absolute pleasure of creating wedding flowers for Sian-Marie Collins and Robs big day. The venue is stunning, the sun was shining and my beautiful couple had a very clear idea of how they wanted their day to look ……. and boy did they pull it off! The dictionary definition:
“A bridesmaid is a woman or a girl who helps and accompanies a bride on her wedding day.”
But we all know they are much, much more than that!
How many do you have and who do you choose? Probably one of the most important decisions a bride will make when planning her big day!
Then the fun really starts……! So many decisions to make!
What colour will they wear?
Will their dresses be identical or different styles?
Will their bouquets be a smaller version of the bridal bouquet or something completely different?
The choices are endless!
