Obviously words can’t describe the journey you go on when you have your first baby, however which way they come to you.
I find it hard to feel ambitious or like I have personal goals beyond eating breakfast, lunch and dinner, staying fit and healthy and holding my relationship down. Maybe it’s being content. Maybe it’s being in love. I just feel like that’s enough for now. Enough.

I can hardly believe that Ruth Ayah Plant happened for us! I never anticipated the contentment and true happiness I would feel, despite the longing for so so long. She truly is the sunshine of my life and all the wanderlust is for adventures with her now. Thank you for all the amazing gifts and cards and welcoming love that everyone has sent to us.
It’s my birthday this week. Mum asks me what I’d like. After so many years, I literally can’t think of anything more I want or anywhere else I want to go. I am just so incredibly lucky to be a mummy at last. It’s a dream come true.
