Open across the Bank Holiday weekend at Riverside Barns 🌿

Looking for somewhere local to visit this bank holiday? A few of our lovely independent businesses are open across the weekend, with plenty to browse, enjoy and discover on site.

The café is back open, perfect for breakfast, lunch, coffee, cakes and drinks by the lake. ☕️

The Biophilic Retreat have family nature fun, AR Creative Design have handmade gifts and creations, Saffron Cycles are offering free bike checks, and The Triple Moon and Collar & Comb are open too. 🌿🚲✨️🐶

Please note Well Treated Pets are currently on holiday, but will be back open on Bank Holiday Monday. 🐾

The café is back open at Riverside Barns 🌿

Just in time for the bank holiday weekend, the café is back to normal opening hours.

Open daily 9am–3pm for breakfast, lunch, drinks, cakes and sweet treats.

Perfect for a relaxed visit by the lake, a catch-up over coffee, or a little browse around the independent businesses on site.

A warm welcome to Saffron Cycles 🚲

We’re pleased to welcome another new independent business to Riverside Barns.

Saffron Cycles will be based here in Ickleton, offering bike servicing, repairs, maintenance and bicycle sales from their new unit on site.

A great addition for local cyclists, families, commuters and anyone needing a little help keeping their bike road-ready.

They open from 28th August, so feel free to pop by and say hello.

A peaceful little visitor by the pond this week 🌿

One of the lovely things about Riverside Barns is the variety of wildlife we’re lucky enough to see here. From birds by the water to all the little signs of nature around the site, there’s always something beautiful to spot if you take a moment to look.

A lovely evening welcoming The Biophilic Retreat to Riverside Barns yesterday 🌿

It was so nice to see such a great turnout for their soft opening and to have people coming together to explore the new space.

They’ve worked so hard to bring the space together, and it really shows. Every detail feels thoughtful, creative and full of care.

The Biophilic Retreat brings something really unique to the site, with nature-inspired workshops, moss art, biophilic design services and wellbeing-focused events.

A beautiful new addition to Riverside Barns, and we’re excited to see what they create here.

The Triple Moon at Riverside Barns 🌙

If you haven’t discovered it yet, The Triple Moon is one of the lovely independent businesses here at Riverside Barns in Ickleton, and it’s quickly becoming known as a bit of a hidden gem.

Inside you’ll find crystals, tarot and oracle decks, candles, incense, jewellery, homeware, spiritual gifts and plenty of beautiful pieces to browse.

It’s a lovely spot to pop in for a mooch, especially if you fancy a wander by the pond and a look around the other small businesses on site too.

While the café is closed, cakes, drinks and crisps are also available to buy from The Triple Moon, so you can still pick up a little treat while you’re here.
