While everyone else was watching the bride and groom, I spotted this moment unfolding and knew it was one worth capturing. A little bit chaotic, completely unscripted, and full of personality.
These are the moments I love most. The ones nobody plans for, nobody poses, and nobody could recreate if they tried.
Years from now, this photograph won't just remind them of how their wedding looked.
It'll remind them exactly how it felt.

A little note for anyone enquiring about wedding photography...
I believe in being completely transparent about pricing, which is why all of my packages and prices are clearly displayed on my website. It's there to help you decide whether I'm a good fit for your wedding before you get in touch.
So when I receive enquiries asking, "How much do you charge?" it does leave me wondering if the pricing page has been missed entirely!
Likewise, every now and then someone will tell me they've been quoted half of what I charge and ask if I can match or beat it.
The honest answer is no.
Photography isn't a commodity where every photographer offers the same thing at a different price. We all have different levels of experience, different approaches, different products, and different business costs. My pricing reflects the quality of service, experience, and work that I provide.
If another photographer is a better fit for your budget, that's absolutely fine. There are plenty of talented photographers working at different price points, and it's important to find someone who suits both your vision and your budget.
What I don't do is negotiate against other photographers or enter into a race to the bottom on price.
When you book me, you're booking me for my work, my experience, my approach, and the value I bring—not because I happened to be the cheapest option.
And that's perfectly okay.

One thing I never take for granted is the trust couples place in me on their wedding day.

Looking back at recent reviews, what means the most isn't just the praise for the photos—it's hearing that I helped people feel relaxed, made them laugh, got on well with their guests, and helped them enjoy the day.

I love photography, but weddings are about people. If I can deliver stunning images while making the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable, then I've done my job.

Thank you to all the couples who've invited me to be part of their day. It genuinely means the world.

𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲?

𝗔𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿:
If I haven't then honestly, it’s not something that matters as much as people think.

Every wedding is completely different, even at the same venue. The light changes, the layout gets tweaked, the weather does its own thing, and most importantly… the people are different. That’s what actually shapes the photographs.

What does matter is experience — knowing how to read a scene quickly, handle any lighting situation, and anticipate moments as they happen. That’s how you get natural, genuine images without stopping the day or turning it into a photoshoot.

As I haven’t photographed at your venue before, I approach it with completely fresh eyes — focusing on the best light, the strongest angles, and the real moments as they naturally unfold, rather than relying on a pre-planned checklist.

If it helps, I’m more than happy to visit the venue beforehand or arrive early on the day to get a feel for everything. But after photographing plenty of weddings in all kinds of places, adapting quickly is just part of the job.

So whether I’ve shot there ten times or it’s my first visit, you’ll get the same thing: relaxed, natural coverage and photos that feel like your day — not a copy of someone else’s.

At the end of the day, you’re not hiring someone because they know where the fire exit is or which corner the speeches usually happen in. You’re hiring them because you trust them to handle whatever the day throws at them and still create photographs that actually mean something to you years later.

A beautiful venue is great, but it’s the people, the atmosphere, the emotion and the little in-between moments that make a wedding memorable — and that’s exactly what I’m there to capture.

Christ on a bike!… here we go!
Every wedding photographer on here: “Natural. Documentary. Authentic.” Followed by 3 paragraphs basically declaring themselves the second coming of photography.
Let’s be honest for a second…
We all shoot candid moments.
We all do couples portraits.
We all say “relaxed, natural, storytelling.”
It’s not revolutionary. It’s the job.
I’m not here pretending I’ve reinvented weddings.
I’m not “award-winning this” or “visionary that.”
I’m just a photographer… who photographs weddings.
No ego. No snobbery. No performance.
I won’t turn up acting like I’m above your guests.
I won’t dress like I’m heading to a fashion week afterparty.
I won’t make your day about me.
What you see is what you get.
You enjoy your wedding.

I’ve had a lot of messages over the past few years asking if I offer in-person photography training… and the honest answer has always been “not yet.”

That might be about to change.

I’m testing something out this May — keeping it small, practical, and actually useful (no fluff, no standing around pretending to learn). The goal is to figure out the best way to deliver real value, in a way that fits how I actually shoot and work with couples.

If it works the way I think it will, I’ll be rolling out proper in-person training sessions later this year.

Nothing polished or overhyped just yet — just me working it out properly before I shout about it.
