Hello August! I was sat last night looking through the diary and realised we are already very busy on Saturdays in September and October.

We only have 3 Saturday appointments left for September and only 7 left for October at the moment.

We still have plenty of mid week appointments available and August has some availability still but if you were thinking of coming to see us in the autumn it’s worth getting a date in the diary now.

All appointments are free of charge and you will have exclusive use of the shop for you and your guests with Leanne the owner on hand to advise and help you find your dream dress.

Look what has arrived today!!!! So excited to have this dress in store for our brides to try on. Everyone knows I love dresses that are a bit different and this went straight on the list when we saw it at Bridal Week in March. Love it!!!

We have had a new delivery of veils! We have had a few brides recently saying they would like colour but then when they find their dream dress it’s been ivory so here is a way to add your colour. How beautiful to walk down the aisle in your ivory dress and then have a splash of blue or multicoloured behind you!!!

We have a shoot next week so can’t wait to show you these on a bride! Xx

Leanne the owner was a costume maker for the westend theatre before moving onto bridal. She can alter your dress for you to have the perfect fit on your big day and can also do customisation to make it 150% your dream dress.

This dress was at least 3 sizes too big for the bride by the time her wedding date came around. You can see in the first picture how much needed to be removed, the lace reapplied and sculpted to fit. It was perfect on her wedding day as you can see in the last 2 photos. If you want a store that can help with both finding your dress and altering it then book in to see us at Sammie Lou bridal. ###

Our real bride Sammie looked absolutely beautiful when she married the love of her life last month. Married on a cruise ship it looked like an amazing day. Congratulations to you both again and thank you for sharing your special day with us. It’s always fantastic to get to see our brides on the actual day and see how wonderful you all look. ###

Apologies that the shop has been closed yesterday afternoon and today. I’ve been down in London for a very special occassion!

Mark is back working In the West-end and his new show Sinatra the Musical opened last night.

I got to go along and see the show, then on to the opening night party at the Savoy!

It was an amazing evening. Brilliant show and excellent party. So lovely to see some old friends and what an incredible setting.

Well done to everyone involved in the show and if you love Frank Sinatra you have to go and see it!
