No longer 17… and definitely older, wiser and creakier.

Now a mum, teacher, theatre director… and a celebrant who cries at your vows like it’s opening night 💛

I’ve basically turned a life of juggling chaos into a career — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

It’s my wedding anniversary

🥂And wow… there’s so much advice out there. So here are a few of mine 💛

1.Things will go wrong — so what?They will. Something always does.And you’ll still get married… which is kind of the whole point.

2. Enjoy the spectacle (if you want to!)
Go big, go bold, go all out… or don’t.There’s no “should” — only what feels right for you.

3. Have fun — don’t forget that part.
It sounds obvious, but it’s easy to get swept up in logistics.Pause. Laugh. Be in it.

4. Pick your suppliers wisely.
The right people don’t just deliver — they support, guide, and care.We chose well… and have zero regrets.

5. Climb the tree 🌿
Do the thing you might talk yourself out of .Don’t miss a moment because you’re worried about looking silly. (For the record… I danced on a bar in my wedding dress 💃)

6. Consider a celebrant.
If you want something personal, meaningful, and completely you…it’s worth it. Promise.
