We are experienced and flexible, and if you have special dishes you would like to include we will happily work with you to devise a bespoke menu. Guest accommodation includes a luxury suite for the newly weds, bespoke guest suites, bedrooms and enchanting Romany Caravans luxuriously converted, and perfect for clamping! The Apple Shed at South Farm \\ Press Launch Highlights 🍎

This week, we opened the doors of The Apple Shed and welcomed a wonderful gathering of local businesses and wedding suppliers to come and see it for themselves.

Guests wandered through the gardens and spaces, had an inciteful tour of our organic small-holding, savoured seasonal canapés fresh from our kitchen, and sipped on home-grown apple juice right here from the farm. Every single guest left with a South Farm goodie bag filled with produce grown in our small-holding — a little taste of what we grow at our sustainable wedding venue in Hertfordshire. The Apple Shed has been designed with one simple intention — to make the wedding morning feel just as special, seamless and memorable as everything that follows.

From 8am on your wedding day, this calm, private and beautifully considered space is entirely yours. Inside you’ll find a light-filled main room for hair and make-up, a separate dressing room perfect for that First Look moment, a spacious bathroom, a bespoke kitchen and a cosy lounge to settle into the morning. Step outside and there’s a stunning season-inspired garden with stylish seating — the perfect spot for those first celebratory drinks before the ceremony begins.

Every detail quietly considered. Because the morning matters too.

The Apple Shed, our new pre-wedding space, has been featured as Cambridge Edition's pick for the county's newest spot for pre-wedding moments.

Designed with Mackenzie Home, the space brings together a ready room, four hair and make-up chairs, a fully equipped kitchen and an enclosed seasonal garden, all built with sustainability, environmentally conscious materials and small British makers at the heart of it.

From Field to Fork | July’s Harvest 👨‍🌾

At South Farm, seasonality and sustainability go hand in hand. Around 70% of the fruit and vegetables that make their way onto our guests’ plates are grown right here on our very own small-holding. Using organic principles, this means zero food miles, minimal packaging and very little need for refrigeration 🌱

After weeks of glorious sunshine and summer rain, the smallholding is absolutely bursting this month! Our small-holding has done what it always does best and this month and our kitchen team are spoilt for choice with the most beautiful seasonal produce to bring to our couples menus. Each ingredient is carefully hand-picked by our brilliant garden team and brought straight to the kitchen, ready to be transformed into something special. 🍅🌿🧑‍🍳

This month, this wonderful selection of home-grown produce from our small-holding will be making its way onto seasonal wedding menus… take a little peek. 🌱
