BIG NEWS! We're excited to announce that Lazos Grove Extra Virgin Olive Oil has just won a 2026 Great Taste Award! And with TWO gold stars! ⭐️⭐️😱🫒

The Great Taste Award is a world-renowned, international food and drink accreditation scheme. This year, globally, just over 100 Great Taste awards were given to olive oil brands and, of those, only 26 received 2 stars! That means that Lazos Grove has officially been recognised as some of the very best olive oil in the world! 🌍

This is a huge achievement and a deserved accolade for the family in Greece, who spend all year working incredibly hard tending to the grove, and who do so with such love, passion and pride for their produce. 🫒 They see all the Instagram and Facebook comments so please show them some love. 💚

A huge congratulations to them, and to Mike for bringing their dream to the UK. 💚💚

Alcohol free drinks are now in the shop, to drink in the courtyard or take home to enjoy.

And they pair perfectly with cheeses, this rhubarb nectar pairs perfectly with Alp Blossom

We are open today, Friday 10th July, from 10.30am to 4pm.

Lauren has been holding the fort while I snuck away to beautiful Italy to celebrate joining the 50s club.

I'll be back in the shop tomorrow opening from 9am until 8pm serving cheese, nibbles, wine and beer. We also have a selection of delicious alcohol free options now in store.

Guys, this weather is not good for business.... don't worry, the cheese is fine and so is Lauren but the town is very very quiet so I have made the decision to close at 3pm today and will be open from 10.30am until 2pm on Thursday.

A bit of info and a quick quiz....

Coincidentally myself and Charlie are both on holiday this week.... Don't worry, the shop is still open 10.30am until 4pm run by the lovely Lauren and I'm back on Saturday open until 8pm for Cheese and wine in the courtyard.

However, I thought I'd share our holiday snaps with you....one cheeseboard is taken by Charlie and the other cheeseboard is taken by me... Whos is who?? Answer in the comments.

Summer is here and we are serving Cheese, wine and nibbles in the courtyard from 12pm to 8pm this Friday & Saturday.

Win a Cheese & Wine Experience for Two

A lot of people still don't know that Royston has its own independent cheesemonger... and also that you can sit in our lovely courtyard enjoying cheese boards, wine, beers and nibbles.

So, to put that awful wrong right, I'm giving away a cheese board and a bottle of wine for two to enjoy in our courtyard.

To enter all you need to do is spread the word by....

1. Tagging the person you would like to bring if you win
2. Make sure you both follow our page

That's it...No sharing. No endless hoops to jump through. Just good cheese, good wine and hopefully a bit of sunshine.
